Since Yemite couldn't teleport all of Stella's party at once, she reluctantly joined them as they set off to Underfall on foot.Īfter Stella and her party first reached Dire Woods, they encountered a large pile of snow blocking the path. Yemite asked that Edward accompany her to Underfall, but Edward demanded that the rest of the party accompany him, or he wouldn't go.

Galahad wanted to kill her, but Stella managed to prevent him from doing so. When Stella, Edward, Galahad, and Te'ijal reached the hunter's cabin to search for clues of Mel's whereabouts, Yemite teleported in. This time, Yemite obeyed, and teleported away to seek Edward. Mel then ordered Yemite to inform her friend Edward Pendragon of her current situation and to bring him to her. Mel tried to command her to help her escape Underfall, but Yemite refused out of concern for Mel's safety. Once Mel was captured by Gyendal and imprisoned in the back of the Underfall Cathederal, Yemite appeared before her and introduced herself as her faithful servant and protector. Yemite beat the 362 other contestants, and thus would become Mel's personal servant upon her ascendancy to the rulership of Mordred's army of darkness. The darklings of Underfall needed to choose a personal servant and guardian for that descendant, so they held a howling contest in which the winner would be appointed to the desired position. Like many of her fellow darklings, Yemite revered Mordred Darkthrop and eagerly awaited the emergence of his destined descendant that would fulfill the Darkthrop Prophecy.
